Coronavirus cases hit nearly 2K in Armenia

The number of coronavirus cases grew by 65 in Armenia in the past 24 hours, reaching 1,932, the Center for Control and Prevention of Diseases reported on Wednesday.
According to the center, a total of 900 patients have recovered, 1,000 are getting treatment.
The death toll reached 30.
The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) emerged in late 2019 in China’s Hubei province, and the virus has spread to 210 countries and territories since then.
To date, COVID-19 cases surpassed 3,139,000 globally, resulting in more than 959,000 recoveries and over 218,000 deaths.
On February 11, the WHO officially named the 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) as COVID-19, and on March 11, declared it a pandemic.
