Bodies of 9 frostbitten migrants found on Turkey-Greece border

The bodies of 9 illegal migrants, who died from frostbite, were found in the province of Edirne, bordering Greece, in northwestern Turkey, on Wednesday, the office of the Edirne provincial governor said in a statement, Report informs, citing Anadolu.
"In the area of Mandakoru, near the village of Pasakoy, the bodies of frozen migrants were found. One of the ten migrants, who managed to be rescued, was placed in the Kesan state hospital. The search and rescue operation continues to find other migrants, who may need help. An investigation in the deaths of the migrants has been launched," the statement reads.
