Belarus COVID-19 cases hit 3 thousand

Confirmed COVID-19 cases have increased by 362 in Belarus in a single day, taking the tally to 3,281. More than four patients died. Thus the death toll from the virus in the country stands for 33, Report says, citing RIA Novosti.

According to the press service of the Health Ministry, "3,281 people have tested positive for the new type of coronavirus. Of these, 2,444 people receive treatment at special hospitals. While, the state of rest is moderate and they are treated on an outpatient basis. Fifty-seven patients need ventilation support, 33 patients with several chronic diseases, who tested positive for COVID-19, died."

Notably, as of today, the country has conducted 71,875 thousand tests for coronavirus in 17 laboratories.
