Armenian sappers to defuse mines near Kirants village by detonating them

Armenian sappers will defuse mines by detonating them near the village of Kirants (Güney) in the Tavush region of Armenia, bordering Azerbaijan, the press service of the Armenian Defense Ministry said.

Report informs via Armenian media that the work will be carried out 1,800 meters north of the specified village.

"Residents of the surrounding areas are asked to take note and not to panic," the ministry says.
