Several Armenians heading to Russia have been deported to their home country, Report informs, citing Tert.am.
According to the information, this is due to the illegalities in COVID-19 tests in Armenia.
"We took the first flight to Moscow, we were forbidden to go forward at the checkpoint, saying that our test for COVID-19 was illegal, and as a result, we were deported. I asked what the matter was, and they told me that I was going to cross the Russian border, having an illegal paper with me. We were kept hungry for three days; we drank only water," one of the citizens who returned to Armenia noted.
The Armenian citizen said that they demanded to resolve remittances and return the money spent on tickets.
