Armenian expert: Deep apathy is observed in Armenian society

A deep general depression and negligence are observed among the residents of Armenia, Vigen Akopyan, an Armenian political expert, said, Report informs, citing Novosti Armenia.

“It means that people try to escape from reality. It is also a psychological issue,” he said.

According to the expert, apathy is one of the symptoms of clinical depression: “In other words, when society is deeply depressed, a defensive reaction occurs. One of them is the ostrich position. At this time, people try to escape from reality.”

He said that in such conditions, people protect themselves from negative information and prefer to do their daily work.

According to Vigen Akopyan, this state of society is associated with the country's security issues and Karabakh.
