Armenia opens criminal case against 2 Azerbaijani soldiers under several articles

The court of general jurisdiction in Yerevan has decided to arrest two Azerbaijani soldiers who got lost due to adverse weather conditions in the direction of the Shahbuz region of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and ended up on the territory of Armenia, Report informs referring to Sputnik-Armenia.

Armenian Prosecutor’s Office opened a criminal case against Azerbaijani servicemen under several articles.

In particular, according to the Prosecutor General’s Office, a criminal case has been initiated against Agshin Babirov and Huseyn Akhundov under a number of articles of the Armenian Criminal Code. They are accused of illegally crossing the state border by prior agreement by a group of people, smuggling and illegal circulation of weapons and ammunition.
