Armenia issues new 20,000 dram banknote

The Central Bank of Armenia has introduced a new 20,000 dram banknote into circulation as of January 27, Report informs via Armenian media outlets.
On the front of the new banknote, the date of issue and the signature of the Minister of Finance have been updated. A protective symbol has also been added to the lower left corner of the back of the note.
The previously issued 20,000 dram banknotes, dating from 1999 to 2021, will continue to be in circulation.
