Armenia: Coronavirus cases surpass 1,800

62 more people were infected with coronavirus in Armenia, Report informs, citing the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention (NCDCP) under the Health Ministry.
Thus, the number of people infected with the virus has reached 1,808. Twenty-nine out of them have died, 728 recovered.
The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) emerged in late 2019 in China’s Hubei province, and the virus has spread to 210 countries and territories since then.
To date, COVID-19 cases have reached 2,995,757 globally, resulting in 881,634 recoveries and 207,021 deaths.
On February 11, the WHO officially named the 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) as COVID-19, and on March 11, declared it a pandemic.
