Armenia applies to join SCO

Armenia has sent a request to join the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), Armenia's Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced at a press conference on July 16, Report informs.
"Yes, Armenia has applied to the SCO for membership. And this fits into our agenda of balancing and conducting a balanced foreign policy. And we will continue to work," Armenian Prime Minister stated.
He noted that Armenia is a partner of the SCO.
