A soldier of Azerbaijani origin was killed in the fighting in Ukraine.
According to the information provided by Ramzi Rzayev, Chairman of the Congress of Azerbaijanis in Kryvyi Rih to the Eastern Europe Bureau of Report, Aliyev Rustam Ramazan oglu, a citizen of Ukraine, originally from the Balakan region of Azerbaijan, died as a result of artillery fire in the Knyazovka district near Kherson.
Rzayev said that one more Azerbaijani was killed earlier.
The Congress was closely involved in their burial and provided support to their families.
