Angela Merkel: Georgia won’t join NATO soon

Baku. 24 August. REPORT.AZ/ Germany supports Georgia’s integration to NATO, German Chancellor Angela Merkel said during a meeting with students at the Tbilisi State University in the Georgian capital, Report informs.
"However, frankly, we cannot talk about Georgia's prompt accession to NATO (membership)", Angela Merkel said.
At the same time, she invited Georgia to continue its policy step-by-step to join NATO.
