70 militants, 30 looters detained in Almaty

Over 70 militants who stormed the administrative buildings have been detained in Almaty, Report informs, citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
Moreover, 30 looters were also nabbed.
Mass protests in Kazakhstan started on the first days of 2022. In the country's west, residents of Zhanaozen and Aktau took to the streets to protest against the twofold increase in prices for liquefied gas, the most popular fuel in Kazakhstan. Later the protests spread to other cities.
