Kyiv awaits clear signals from the US and Türkiye regarding the timing of the Ukraine-Russia negotiations in Istanbul, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said at a press conference in Ankara following talks with the President of Türkiye, Report informs.
"We are waiting for clear signals from American and Turkish colleagues regarding the time and date of negotiations. They can take place today or tomorrow," Zelenskyy said.
Zelenskyy emphasized that Ukraine is interested in negotiations with Russia and hopes that the meeting "will still take place."
"No one will ignore even the slightest step that could lead to peace. Our position remains constructive," he added.
