Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with US Senators Lindsey Graham and Richard Blumenthal during their visit to Kyiv, Report informs, citing RBC-Ukraine.
Zelensky stressed that bicameral and bipartisan support of the United States is crucial for Ukraine.
According to the president, Ukraine now needs Congress's help in supplying modern air defence systems to ensure the safety of the civilian population.
"The main priority is to ensure that women with children return to their homes by September 1 and that children and students go to schools and universities," Zelenskyy said.
