If Ukraine acquires long-range weapons as soon as possible, its army will not move away from Bakhmut, and will even begin to liberate the territories of the eastern regions previously occupied by the Russians, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said at the press conference held in Kyiv today, according to Report's Eastern European Bureau.
"No one will surrender Bakhmut. We will fight as much as we can. We consider Bakhmut our fortress... If we have a fast weapon, the longest-range weapon, we will not only not move away from Bakhmut, but will also liberate other territories. Then we will start the liberation of Donbas, which has been occupied since 2014," Zelenskyy added.
