Zelenskyy: After summit in Vilnius, Ukraine to receive important new defense tools

Ukraine's main priority during the NATO summit in Vilnius is to provide defense for the country, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy wrote on his Telegram channel, Report informs.

"Let's continue our work in Vilnius... Our defense is the first priority. And I am grateful to our partners for their readiness to take new steps. More weapons for our soldiers means more life protection for all of Ukraine," the head of state said.

He noted that after the summit in Vilnius, Ukraine will receive new important defense tools.

In addition, Zelenskyy stressed that bilateral meetings would be held on July 12. In particular, with the US, Canadian, German, British, Dutch, Japanese and other partners.

"The first inaugural meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Council is also planned," the president said.
