Vaccination against coronavirus has already begun in 190 countries, and 86 countries have received the vaccine through the international COVAX mechanism, Report mentions, citing TASS.
"Earlier this year, I called on all countries to start immunizing health workers and others in the first 100 days of 2021. This week, that 100-day period ends, and 190 countries have started vaccinating. COVAX has already delivered 36 million doses of vaccine to 86 countries, and this week their number could reach 100," Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO), at a Geneva briefing.
