"The rate of spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus in Europe is of concern," Report informs, citing Haber Global that Hans Kluge, WHO Regional Director for Europe, said this on Thursday.
"We are once again at the epicenter. The current rhythm of transmission in 53 countries of the European region is of great concern. If the trend does not change, then by February we could get another 500,000 deaths associated with COVID-19," Kluge said.
The WHO believes that the deterioration of the situation with the coronavirus in Europe is caused by a combination of factors such as an insufficient percentage of people vaccinated and the weakening of restrictive measures.
