Waltz: US sees no scenario for Ukraine's NATO membership

The United States does not foresee a scenario in which Ukraine could become a NATO member, as this would require Washington to deploy its troops in support of Kyiv, US National Security Advisor Mike Waltz said in an interview with Fox News.

According to Report, he added that while the US remains committed to NATO and Article 5 regarding existing members, the issue of Ukraine’s security guarantees is "a completely different conversation."
