Vulin warns of foreign plot: 'We will not allow a color revolution'

Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vulin has vowed that Belgrade will not fall victim to a "color revolution" orchestrated by Western intelligence services.

According to Report, which cites via Interfax, Vulin accused foreign operatives of fueling ongoing protests in an attempt to overthrow Serbia's government.

"What we see in Belgrade is a coordinated 'color revolution.' It is directly linked to our stance on Russia. Western intelligence agencies want to install a new government, but we will not allow it," he declared.

Mass protests erupted in Serbia following the collapse of a railway station structure in Novi Sad on November 1, 2024. Demonstrators continue to hold authorities responsible for the disaster, keeping tensions high.

President Aleksandar Vucic also weighed in, asserting that Serbia will not experience a "Maidan-style uprising" like the one in Ukraine.
