Vaughan Gething has quit as Welsh first minister, just four months into the job.
Report informs via the BBC that Gething has been embroiled in controversy since he took over, and dogged by questions over a £200,000 campaign donation from a businessman convicted of environmental offences.
In a statement, Gething said claims of wrongdoing are "politically motivated" and he did not compromise his integrity.
"I regret that the burden of proof is no longer an important commodity in the language of our politics," he added.
Gething quit just hours after three of his government ministers and his top legal adviser dramatically released statements, calling for him to go.
