Uzbekistan's president to visit Belarus

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay an official visit to Belarus on July 8–9, Belarusian Prime Minister Alexander Turchin stated after his meeting with President Aleksander Lukashenko, Report informs via BELTA.

The prime minister noted that during his recent working visit to Uzbekistan and talks with Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the sides discussed the development of bilateral relations as well as preparations for the upcoming visit of the Uzbek leader.

"President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev's visit to Minsk on July 8–9 has been confirmed. We are looking forward to welcoming him," Turchin stated.

He added that relations between Belarus and Uzbekistan are successfully and dynamically developing, and both sides are working to ensure the upcoming visit is rich in substance.
