US State Department approves potential $1 billion sale of helicopters to Norway

The US State Department has approved the potential sale of six MH-60R multi-mission helicopters and related equipment to Norway in a deal valued at about $1 billion, the Pentagon said on Wednesday, Report informs, citing Reuters.
The Pentagon also said the State Department has approved the possible sale to Norway of sustainment and services for C-130J aircraft for an estimated cost of $166 million.
The principal contractor for both sales is Lockheed Martin Corp.
