US eyes spending $30.6B on ammunition purchase

The US intends to spend $30.6 billion on the purchase of ammunition in the next fiscal year, which is 12% more than in the current one, First Deputy Secretary of Defense Kathleen Hicks said at a briefing at the Pentagon on March 13, Report informs referring to TASS.
“We will purchase $30.6 billion worth of ammunition in FY2024, which is almost 12% more than in FY2023,” she said.
