Ukraine's military shot down eight of nine drones launched by Russia at areas of southern Ukraine overnight, Report informs citing Sky News.
The General Staff of Ukraine's armed forces said the "Shahed" drones were originally launched from Crimea and were downed over the Mykolaiv and Odesa regions.
Sky News reported in a previous post that downed drone debris injured 11 people in Mykolaiv overnight. There were also emergency power outages in Odesa after one of the high-voltage facilities there was damaged.
It's unclear what happened to the drone that was not destroyed or whether it hit Ukrainian territory.
