UK eyes expanding presence in Black Sea

The UK intends to become more active in the Black Sea and the Baltics, according to the strategy of modernization of the UK Armed Forces, published on March 22 by the country's Defense Ministry, Report informs referring to RIA Novosti.
“We will increase our commitment to the Black Sea region, the High North, the Baltics and the Western Balkans (where we will implement a new regional training initiative), building and working through multilateral groupings, such as the Northern Group,” reads the document.
