Regional issues, including Libya, have been discussed in Cairo, the capital of Egypt.
Report informs, citing the Turkish Foreign Ministry's post on X, that Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan attended the meeting focused on regional issues.
The meeting was also attended by Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty, Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud and Massad Fares Boulos, Senior Adviser to the US President for Arab and African Affairs.
Libya continues to face political and economic division between its two main authorities - the Government of National Unity in Tripoli and forces in the east. The country is also dealing with instability, declining living standards, a migrant crisis and tense processes around UN and US peace plans.
Libya's three main political bodies - the House of Representatives, the Presidential Council and the High Council of State - have signed a new "roadmap" that provides for presidential and parliamentary elections before February 2027.
