Risks related to the tension in the Middle East are rising, and a worse scenario is possible, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan told a joint press conference with his Qatari counterpart Sheikh Mohammad bin Abdul Rahman.
He called on Israel and Hamas for peace: "The sooner the negotiations, the better. Otherwise, it will be more difficult. Humanity is now undergoing a great test. We cannot fail this test. We don't have such a chance."
During his speech, Fidan also criticized the position of Western countries.
