Turkish FM: Parties to Ukraine conflict have reached limits of military capabilities

Russia and Ukraine have reached the limits of their military ability to achieve results, and peaceful dialogue is now necessary, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said at the closing of the Antalya Diplomatic Forum, Report informs.

"Our position is that both sides have already reached the limits of what can be achieved through military means. We believe that now the time has come to conduct dialogue towards a ceasefire," he said.

Fidan added that Türkiye is not talking about the recognition of the Russian-occupied territories, but at the current stage, Türkiye is convinced that the time has come to separate this issue, the topic of sovereignty, from the topic of a ceasefire.
