Turkish ambassador summoned to German Foreign Ministry

Turkish Ambassador to Berlin, Ahmet Basar Sen, was summoned to the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), the ministerial representative said, Report informs via Der Spiegel.
The ambassador was summoned because Merih Demiral, a member of the Turkish national football team, showed a ‘grey wolf’ sign during the match of the 1/8 finals of the European Championship held in Germany with the Austrian national team.
Meanwhile, UEFA has started an investigation due to the behavior of Merih Demiral. The final decision is expected to be announced soon. Federal Minister of the Interior and Community of Germany Nancy Faeser also asked for an investigation.
