Taiwan records approach of China's ships, planes

Over the past day, 45 aircraft and nine ships of the People's Liberation Army of China (PLA) have been recorded in the Taiwan Strait zone.

Thus, 27 of them crossed the Taiwan Strait in the "median line" and entered the Taiwanese air defense identification zone, Report informs referring to the Ministry of Defense of Taiwan in X (formerly Twitter).

"45 PLA aircraft and 9 PLAN vessels around Taiwan were detected by 6 a.m.(UTC+8) today. R.O.C. Armed Forces have monitored the situation and tasked CAP aircraft, Navy vessels, and land-based missile systems to respond these activities.

27 of the detected aircraft (SU-30, J-11, J-10, Y-9, Z-9) had crossed the median line of the Taiwan Strait and entered Taiwan’s southwest ADIZ," reads the message.
