An emergency meeting of the Lebanese Supreme Defense Council has been convened in connection with the unrest in the country.
Report informs, citing TASS, that the initiative came from President Michel Aoun and Prime Minister Najib Mikati.
Police in riot gear stormed a rally on October 14 in the Lebanese capital, Beirut. Casualties are reported.
