Strong explosion in gunpowder store in Columbia, casualties reported

Four people are dead and 30 more injured after an explosion in Bogota at what may have been an underground gunpowder store, Report informs citing Associated Press.

According to media outlets, of the 30, 18 are underage pupils of the school located nearby. The explosion also damaged 17 other buildings.

Authorities are also investigating whether the property was being used for the fabrication of gunpowder for use in the popular game of “tejo.”
