SCO countries urge Afghanistan to fulfill its commitments in fighting terrorism

The countries of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) have called on Afghanistan to fulfill its commitments to combat international terrorist organizations, Report informs referring to the press service of the Russian Security Council.
This call was made at the 19th annual meeting of the secretaries of the security councils of the SCO countries.
“The heads of delegations called on the de facto authorities of Afghanistan to consistently fulfill their obligations in the field of counter-terrorism, especially to suppress the activities of international terrorist organizations and other groups based in Afghanistan and posing a serious threat to the SCO space,” reads the statement.
