Scholz: NATO countries should avoid direct conflict with Russia

NATO countries should weigh and coordinate steps to support Ukraine and at the same time ensure that there is no direct conflict between the alliance and Russia, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said at a security conference in Munich on Friday, Report informs via TASS.
He said they are making sure that there is no war between NATO and Russia.
According to him, a balance should be maintained between supporting Ukraine and avoiding escalation.
