Scholz: Germany in confidential talks with Kyiv

Germany is in confidential talks with Kyiv about possible security guarantees it could offer to Ukraine to ensure its security, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said, Report informs citing UNIAN.

"We are negotiating guarantees with Ukraine. These negotiations are confidential," he said.

What exactly such guarantees from Germany might look like cannot currently be specified, he added.
