German Chancellor Olaf Scholz held a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday, the press service of the German government said.
Report informs citing TASS that the talks were focused on the situation in Ukraine and efforts to resolve it.
According to the information, in a conversation with the Russian president, the chancellor insisted on an immediate ceasefire, improving the humanitarian situation and progress in finding a diplomatic solution to the conflict.
