Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan discussed in a phone call with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken the developments in the region and the importance of reducing escalation and reaching a permanent ceasefire in Gaza, the Saudi state news agency SPA said on Thursday, Report informs via Reuters.
The two leaders have discussed the latest events happening in the Middle East in a phone call, according to a foreign ministry statement.
The recent call with officials comes amid rising regional tensions, highlighted by Wednesday’s assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh.
