Sarkozy heads France’s opposition party UMP

Baku. 30 November. REPORT.AZ/ Former French President Nicolas Sarkozy was elected head of the Union for a Popular Movement (UMP), a leading opposition party, on Saturday with 64.5% of votes, according to preliminary results.
At least 155,000 party members (60%) took part in the election of a new leader around the country, informs Report citing TASS.
