S. Korean President Lee to skip summer vacation this year

South Korean President Lee Jae Myung has decided to forgo his summer vacation this year and instead focus on promoting international trade, Report informs referring to KBS World.

The presidential office of Cheong Wa Dae told reporters on Friday that Lee would usually take a summer vacation late July or early August, but that this year he intends to concentrate on his "sales diplomacy."

Last year, President Lee enjoyed a five-day vacation at the presidential summer home of Cheonghaedae on Jeodo Island on the southern coast.
