Russian army launches missile strike on Kyiv

The Russian Armed Forces have carried out a missile strike on Kyiv, according to the city's mayor Vitali Klitschko, Report informs.

"Explosions are occurring in the city. Air defense forces are operating in the capital," Klitschko said on social media.

The Command of the Ukrainian Air Force also confirmed that missiles were moving in the direction of Kyiv: "Several high-speed targets are heading toward Kyiv."

Explosions were also heard in the Kyiv Oblast.
