Russian Ambassador to Bucharest, Valery Kuzmin, has been summoned to the Romanian Foreign Ministry due to comments about “Romanian gold," Report informs referring to the Romanian Foreign Ministry.
“The ambassador was conveyed the deep dissatisfaction of the Romanian side with the distorted, truncated and inappropriate way of addressing, including in the public communication of the Embassy of the Russian Federation, important topics of bilateral significance, originating in the historical past,” the ministry document says.
On March 15, the Russian Embassy in Romania in its Telegram channel called on “individual Romanian hotheads” to abandon the dream of returning “Romanian gold.”
