Rubio: US discussing Patriot production licenses for Ukraine

The United States is discussing granting Ukraine licenses to produce missiles for Patriot air defense systems, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said in an interview with Fox Radio, Report informs.

Rubio said talks were ongoing, but stressed that any such agreement would not solve Ukraine's problem in the short term.

He noted that even with a license, expanding production would take several years because new factories would have to be built, given the highly sophisticated nature of the weapons.
