Putin: Russia is ready to restore relations with US

We are ready to restore relations with the United States, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at the combined Direct Line Q&A session and year-end press conference, Report informs.

"The United States is an important and necessary country in the world. The imperial policy of this country is an obstacle for them. If internal changes occur in the United States, then fundamental conditions will be created for the restoration of relations," he stressed.

According to him, currently, there are no fundamental conditions for the restoration of relations between the two countries: "First of all, they should start respecting others."
