Protocol on Sweden’s accession to NATO enters into force

The protocol on the accession of Sweden to NATO entered into force, Report informs.

“On March 7, 2024, the conditions for entry into force set forth in Article II of the Protocol to the North Atlantic Treaty on the Accession of the Kingdom of Sweden were fulfilled. Accordingly, the Protocol entered into force on March 7, 2024,” the US Department of State said in a depositary notification.
