Protests staged in Paris

A protest rally is taking place in the capital of France with the participants demanding higher wages and equal labor rights for men and women.

Security during the action is provided by a significant number of police officers and gendarmes. At the same time, in the area of the Rotunda restaurant, which the local press often calls 'Emmanuel Macron’s favorite establishment,' there is a powerful cordon of law enforcement officers reinforced with a water cannon.
