The presidential election in Ukraine may be held in July, The Economist noted, citing a source in the Ukrainian government, Report informs via TASS.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy will attempt to catch his competitors by surprise, hoping that they will fail to arrange an efficient campaign within the short term, the source said.

According to the news outlet, Zelenskyy instructed his office last week to start working on the election after the full-fledged ceasefire that might be achieved by the end of April, as the US administration believes.
