Polish President Andrzej Duda has held consultations with the prime minister and the Ministry of National Defense in connection with the situation in Russia, Report informs.
“The course of events beyond our eastern border is under constant surveillance,” he tweeted, noting that he also discussed the situation with allies.
On June 23, the head of the Wagner PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin, accused the Ministry of Defense of hitting the positions of his company and said that 25,000 people were going to ‘deal with it.’ In the morning, he said that the PMC took control of all military facilities in Rostov-on-Don.
Russia’s FSB opened a criminal case, and President Vladimir Putin called Prigozhin’s actions a rebellion.
