Poland warns Russia

Poland is ready to respond to the deployment of the Kinzhal hypersonic missiles in Russia's Kaliningrad region by activating Article 5 of the NATO Charter, said Wojciech Skurkiewicz, the Deputy Minister - Secretary of State at the Defense Ministry of Poland, Report informs via PAP.

"As a nation on NATO's eastern flank, we are fully aware of the threat, and our actions will be adequate to the actions that Russia is taking," Skurkiewicz said.

He added that Article 5 of the North Atlantic alliance remains in force. According to him, the corresponding obligations were voiced by NATO members and US President Joe Biden.
